By offering effective mentoring, live classes, e-notes, test – series and doubt clearing sessions; we ensure to highlight potential to each individual student and prepare them to cope up with the high level of performance in different competitive exams. 

          A highly dedicated effort is made by the entire team to assist students clearing their exams. Separate ‘INTERVIEW GUIDANCE SESSIONS’ including guidance for the development of personality and communication skills are imparted to the students to enable them to compete better with other students.

              We concentrate on all round ‘HOLISTIC DEVELOPMENT’ of our students in all aspects thereby enabling them to acquire the competency to deliver efficient and effective use of knowledge in exams as well as in practical real life situations.

MILITARY NURSING SERVICE

The Indian Military Nursing Services is a part of Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) of the Indian Army , first formed under British rule in 1888. An officer in the Military Nursing Service is granted Permanent Commission ‘or’ Short Service Commission by a Govt. Gazette Notification .

HISTORY – The Indian Military Nursing Service has its origin in the Army Nursing Service formed in 1888 as part of the British Army. The force went through many changes in its years of existence. In 1893, it was designated as Indian Army Nursing Service. The force went through further changes in 1902, when the Indian Nursing Service and Army Nursing Service were combined and on 27 March 1902, it was redesignated to QueenAlexandra’s Imperial Military Nursing Service. After World War 1, on 1 october 1926, the Nursing Services was made a permanent part of British Indian Army. This date is now being celebrated as the CORPS DAY of Military Nursing Service.

                  In 1943, the Indian arm of the Nursing Services was separated through Indian Military Nursing Service Ordinance, 1943 and redesignated, thereby constituting the Indian Military Nursing Service (IMNS). This was the first time in the history of the Indian Army women were granted commissioned officer rank.

     In 1950, the Government of India constituted the Military Nursing Service (MNS) by issuing Army Instruction 274/50, to set the terms and conditions of service for the grant of regular commissions in the MNS forming part of regular Army, subject to Army Act 1950. The MNS was constituted as an all women, all officer corps of Indian Army, and it remains so.

          Now, the Military Nursing Service is an integral part of the Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS). The AFMS consists of Army Medical Corps (AMC), Army Dental Corps (ADC) and the Military Nursing Services (MNS). The AFMS personnel serve in the medical establishment of Army, Navy and Air Force.

EXAM –

The Indian Army Nursing Exam is a national level entrance exam for admission to 4 years B.Sc nursing programme. Only female candidates would be able to apply for the exam. Female candidates will compete for a total of 200 seats across India. Directorate General Of Medical Services (Indian Army)  to conduct the exam for candidates who qualify NEET (UG) exam. The entrance exam i.e. Test of General Intelligence and General English (ToGIGE) will be computer based test (CBT) followed by a Psychological Aptitute Test (PAT).

ELIGIBILITY –

  • Only female candidate who are citizen of India
  • Should have appeared for NEET (UG) exam
  • The female candidate should have cleared class 12 or equivalent exam in her first attempt
  • She should have scored 50%, in aggregate as a regular student from a recognized board, university or examination body with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects.
  • Those who are appearing in the final examination may also apply provisionally ( if selected for the course, they will have to submit proof of passing).
  • The candidate should be 17 years of age as of 30 september . Her date of birth should be between 1 october 1997 and 30 september 2005.
  • The female candidate should have a minimum height of not less than 152cm.
  • The Gorkhas and candidates belonging to the North-Eastern region of India, the minimum height is 147cm.

SELECTION -

The shortlisted candidates based on merit of NEET (UG) score will be called for an objective computer based test (CBT) of General Intelligence and General English (ToGIGE) of 80 marks. Therefore, the candidates will be subjected to Psychological Assessment Test (PAT), Interview and Medical Examination at a designated venue. Final selection will be based on combined merit of NEET(UG) score + CBT and Interview subject to medical fitness.
